Dear people, let us meditate on these Scriptures and understand how marvellous are the works of our Heavenly Father and how He can turn our hopeless conditions into triumphant :
In this Scripture we see that there was a certain dead man whom the Israelites were burying.
And suddenly due to some raiders invading, they were struck with panic and they threw this poor dead man into Elisha's tomb, and ran for their lives.
Elisha's tomb probably was just close by them, so they just threw his body into his tomb, and took to their feet to save their lives from the raiders.
This incident seems really pathetic from the dead man's end.
The body of this man was left desolate without even a proper burial.
This kind of abandonment and desolation is something that no one would want to even imagine happening to them after they were gone.
Nobody wants their dead bodies to be thrown away this way. Isn't it? Everyone wants to have a proper burial.
Now, these people when they threw the body into Elisha's tomb, did not have any pre notions for this dead person.
They were only running away to save their lives.
They never expected that there is something going to happen in the tomb of Elisha.
Poor dead man, now is thrown inside the tomb of a wonderful man of God.
And inside the tomb were some bones of Elisha.
Dear people of God, for the natural eye and human mind, this whole situation looks so pathetic and hopeless.
Even in Elisha's tomb what was there were only his bones. Not Elisha himself, appearing from above in order to perform some miracle.
But see what God has done in this dead man's life!
The moment the dead body touched the bones of Elisha, God's anointing which was still there in the bones of this great man of God touched his body and he was risen back to life!!
The body which was thrown away helplessly, with no one to bother, which was left in desolation, without anyone to care for, came back to life, turning the abandonment into triumph!
They were only running away to save their lives.
They never expected that there is something going to happen in the tomb of Elisha.

Dear people, God's supernatural power and His works are astounding, which cannot be comprehended with human understanding.
Elisha need not appear back in the tomb to lay hands on him or call him back to life, but the power of God's anointing in his bones induced life and rose this dead person back to life.
'' Psalm 111 : 2,3 Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. ''
Dear people of God, there is nothing impossible for our God.
If you are someone who is going through any such situations where it seems so hopeless all around, and people are not treating you properly, or you are always being hurt by others and do not find a string of help from anyone around, dear precious child of God, our God who sent His power through the bones of His servant and rose the dead man, can He not send His power into any dead situation around you, and raise you back to your feet ?
'' Jeremiah 18 : 2- 5 '' Go down to the potter's house, and there I will give you my message. ''
So I went down to the potter's house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
Then the word of the Lord came to me : '' O house of Israel, can I not do with you as the potter does ? '' declares the Lord. ''
Dear precious people of God, we are like the clay in our Father's hands and He is our Potter.
He shapes us according to His plans and purposes He has for us.
Sometimes God will take us through painful trials, only to bring the image He has for us. But this doesn't mean He is abandoning us or leaving us in a helpless situation.
If you are someone finding yourself in a shapeless condition, that it seems impossible to come out of the mess, do not be discouraged, but allow the Potter to shape you up all over again.
Do not worry if you can't see anyone to care for you, and give you proper attention, care and guidance.
Do not worry when you see people rejecting and thrusting you out of their lives and making you appear as a curse, and consider you invaluable and useless.
Do not worry when they are leaving your hand in between, abandoning you and running after their own selfishness.
Just give yourself wholly into the hands of God, and allow Him to design you.
Hold on to Him in faith until He finishes His work in you.
He will shape you up and turn around your marred shapeless life into a rare piece of art, and design you as the most beautiful person, that the whole world will look upto. He will make His radiance shine through you, and make people turn their heads, just to have one glimpse at you!
It seemed best to God that the dead man be rejected and thrown into Elisha's tomb, so that His anointing could touch him through His servant's bones. And thereby God shaped him up into a beautiful new pot, giving him new life.

Dear people, God can use any cursed situation and turn it around into triumphant events of our lives.
If you are someone whom God is speaking this hour, take this message as an invitation from the Most High Potter, and submit your marred life into His hands.
Seek diligently for God's kingdom, and when God draws you closer to Him and you find His kingdom inside you, in your joy you will yourself forgo rest everything that once you were after, and joyfully commit yourself for doing His will.
When this man came back to life, he might have surely gone into the town and testified this marvellous thing that God has done for him, and every old person, ripe in age and who was about to die, who heard his testimony, surely might have desired their bodies too be thrown away like him after they were gone, into Elisha's tomb, so that they too can be raised up and come back to life. Isn't it ?
Dear people, God can use any cursed situation and turn it around into triumphant events of our lives.
If you are someone whom God is speaking this hour, take this message as an invitation from the Most High Potter, and submit your marred life into His hands.
Do not worry how He is going to shape you and what He will mould you into!
Just say, Father, here I submit my marred life into Your hands.
I am shapeless, no one wants to look at me..
no one wants to even talk to me..
no one even welcomes me into their homes..
I feel so desolate and hopeless..
Father, here I am, take me into Your hands wholly, and shape me up..
design me all over again...
Make Your radiance shine through me...that I may proclaim Your greatness and glorify Your name.
