This is the trait of a noble character.
There were these Bereans, (people from Berea) who, when the great man of God apostle Paul went to teach them, they not only heard him eagerly, but also examined Paul's words carefully with the Scriptures.
And the word of God commends them as those having a noble character.
'' Acts 17 : 10-11
As soon as it was night, the brothers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. ''
If Apostle Paul's words were so carefully examined, then how much more we ought to examine the words of today's preachers and teachers with the Scriptures - everyday?
I have come across many people, who fear that they would dishonor their preachers if they doubt or question their teaching.
And many just ignore and overlook presuming things to be too deep for them to ponder.
Dear people, such attitudes are not a sign of good and a noble character.
When we call ourselves children of God , our character is the main thing that differentiates us from the children of the world.
And as children of God, we ought to have a noble character.
And a good and noble character does not take things easy.
It does not ignore or close its eyes and ears thinking matter is too complicated or too high to comprehend and therefore blindly follow what the preachers say!
Noble character prompts the person to carefully ponder over every smallest thing that is trying to influence his or her life.
If one overlooks, then this comes only from some fear and ignorance.
Fear of what perceptions people might form about them! Because their ignorance of the Scriptures doesn't give them the confidence they need to stand up against false teachings.
They focus only on the name and fame of these preachers, and don't even feel the need to examine their teaching with the Scriptures.
And they want to be on safe side by silently accepting their doctrines and genealogies so that they are not pointed out for whatsoever reasons.
This is nothing but self righteousness.
The root cause of which is fear and ignorance.
And fear and ignorance are the property of the devil.
But people remember that we are not bought by the blood of these preachers that we must silently follow them.
We are bought by the blood of the ONE whose name is ''Jesus Christ.''

And He has given us His life, underwent so much for each one of us, went to the cross in mine and your place, became a sin, being the Holy Son of God ....
He sent us the Holy Spirit to be with us, gave us His word that we may not be lost....
It is JESUS who did everything.....

How much His heart will be grieved when He looks at all these millions of people, running after satisfying themselves with the deceptive doctrines the devil has planted...

Did He suffer all this only to give you some clothes and grain and some bricks ..?
God has supplied food through a raven to Elijah.

With a sling and stones God placed David in a royal palace, clothed him with royal clothes and bestowed kingship on him.
Jesus need not lay down His life and give us His flesh and blood, if God were only wanting to send you some threads to adorn you outwardly and give you some bricks to build a shelter and some employment to survive in this world.
A sling and stones are sufficient for God to get you into a palace and put on you royal clothes!!
Just think...

All the pain He underwent to save you and me from the power of enemy , the sin of the flesh, so that we might live a holy and godly life, pleasing to the Father - upholding His name, in fear and awe and reverence - all this is now only being ridiculed when His people run after their desires , proclaiming His death and resurrection as a license for their actions!
Will not the heart of the Father burn out with rage and fury when He looks at all this ?
Father kept silent when Jesus was dying on the cross.
He had forsaken Jesus on the cross, laying the sin of us all on His Son.
He kept silent that day, so that we all will be redeemed from the world and become His sons and daughters through Him.
Now if we all leave His Son and chase after the world, from which we are supposed to be redeemed, will the Father remain silent ?

And had sacrifised the same Son when we are lost in sin due to the first Adam, He Himself came down, laid down His life that we be reconciled to Him again...so that we revere Him keeping all His decrees and live a holy life....

Does God need to think about man to this extent ?
What are we that God must think so much about us ?
Can He not wipe away the entire mankind on earth or bring mankind on other planets and have His own world with them, and leave us for our destiny on the day of Judgment ??

Why then are we making it only a book of some religious observation, only to be carried in hands and study only those portions what your preachers and teachers tell you and take only their doctrines?
We are not in anyway obligated to blindly listen to any preacher, without examining their words with the Scriptures.
We are all citizens in the kingdom of God, where ''Jesus Christ'' is the King. Not any notorious preacher !
We belong to Jesus - directly ! We don't belong to him via any preacher or a teacher.
What are we that God must think so much about us ?

In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.''
Then why are you not able to take your stand for Jesus, and stand against every deceptive doctrine the enemy is planting in the field of God ?

I cover them with the blood of Jesus, and break every Satanic force that is binding them. I pray that in your grace you find them back and bring them back into your sheep pen.
